Ukrainian for You is an online platform for learning Ukrainian for children aged 6–14 living abroad. Live lessons with a teacher or self-paced learning — any time, anywhere.
Ukrainian for You was born in 2025 from the pain of parents who saw their children gradually forgetting their mother tongue. We help children living abroad stay connected to their language, culture and identity — wherever they are.
Children remember who they are through language, songs, fairy tales and traditions of their people.
Students find friends across Europe — peers who understand their journey and share the same roots.

Not every child has a computer. That's why we offer 4 flexible learning formats to suit every school and family situation.
The teacher uses the platform on their laptop connected to a projector or TV. Children interact verbally, work at the board, answer quizzes together. The teacher controls the platform — no devices needed for students.
If the school has computers or tablets — each child gets their own platform login. The teacher leads the lesson live while students complete interactive tasks individually.
No Saturday school in your city? The child learns online from home with peers from across Europe. The live group lesson + self-study platform replaces the physical school entirely.
If the Saturday school already has a Ukrainian teacher, we provide the platform, curriculum, materials and methodological support. The teacher uses our content — saving hours of lesson preparation.
Two learning formats for every rhythm and budget. First lesson is free.
Like Duolingo but in your native language — interactive platform with lessons, games and exercises without a live teacher. Perfect for independent learners.

Ukrainian for You was born not in a boardroom, but from a real pain that Iryna witnessed firsthand. Travelling across Europe and speaking with Ukrainian families in Poland, Germany, Spain, France and the UK, she heard the same story again and again: children are forgetting Ukrainian. They switch to the local language, feel awkward speaking Ukrainian with their parents, and slowly lose the thread that connects them to their roots.
As a certified coach and educator, Iryna began collaborating with Ukrainian diaspora associations across Europe — in Warsaw, Berlin, Madrid, Paris, Prague and beyond. She discovered that dozens of Saturday schools existed but lacked a unified platform, structured curriculum and digital tools. The teachers worked on enthusiasm alone, without support.
In 2025, Iryna launched Ukrainian for You — a project that unites a digital platform, a community of teachers and a network of partner schools. Her coaching background shapes the project's philosophy: it's not about grammar drills, it's about children feeling proud to speak Ukrainian. About identity. About belonging.
Iryna's coaching website →We've been living in Warsaw for two years. My daughter was forgetting words, felt embarrassed to speak Ukrainian. After three months with Ukrainian for You — she reads Shevchenko poems and writes letters to her grandmother!
At first my son refused — "it's boring". Now he reminds me himself that his lesson is tomorrow. The interactive games are brilliant! He plays and doesn't even realise he's learning.
We organised a Saturday school in Barcelona. Ukrainian for You gave us everything: platform, materials, teacher support. I recommend this to every diaspora organisation!
